Surgical Specialists of North Texas provides surgical services to our patients with a caring, certified team of providers. We have a special interest in hernia repair. We aim to provide excellent medical care with a personal touch and treat patients as we would treat members of our own families.
Katy Davis, PA-C
Katy Davis is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to graduate at the top of her class with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Katy grew up in McKinney and she has loved moving back to the area after joining Surgical Specialists of North Texas in 2015.
Rachel New, PA-C
Rachel New joined Surgical Specialists of North Texas in 2013. A native of Colorado, she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She lives in North Texas with her husband and three sons.
Chrissy Guzzetta, PA-C
Christiania Guzzetta was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. She moved to Dallas from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Nova Southeastern University with a Masters of Medical Science. Prior to attending graduate school, Christiania attended Purdue University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Movement and Sports Science. She previously worked with a general and vascular surgery practice. She and her husband moved to Dallas to be closer to family, and after several years in practice, she remains passionate about caring for her patients, and the field of general surgery.
Mary Zeigler, PA-C
Mary Zeigler moved to Dallas from her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham magna cum laude with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to attending physician assistant school, Mary graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor in Science in kinesiology. Mary's passion for surgery drew her to PA school, and she delights in taking care of surgical patients. In her free time, she enjoys long distance running, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
